Tater Tot Casserole - Recipe

The first time I made this I encountered some resistance from dh and the boys because it was a healthy recipe I found while on Weight Watchers. *rolls eyes*
This recipe has since become a favorite and is requested quite frequently.

It is very easy to make and oh my! so tasty.
There are always plenty of leftovers that you can freeze for a later date or enjoy for lunch.

Tater Tot Casserole

Serving Size : 12

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 pound lean ground beef -- 92% or above
1 onion -- small - chopped
1 can Cream of Mushroom 98% Fat Free Condensed Soup
1 Cream of Chicken 98% Fat Free Condensed Soup
72 tater tots
1 cup shredded lowfat cheddar cheese
1/2 cup skim milk

  • Heat oven 350.
  • Spray 9x13 dish.
  • Place tater tots on bottom of dish.
  • Brown beef and onion in large skillet (drain off excess liquid), mix in soups and milk.
  • Mix well.
  • Spread mixture on top of tater tots.
  • Sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Bake 40 minutes.

Can add a small bag of mixed veggies, peas, corn or any vegetable leftovers in, please remember that this will change the calories.
