We have a cute little strawberry patch off of our patio and every spring I look forward to when the strawberry plants flower.
Once I see the flowers, I know that within two weeks we will have berries!
I really noticed all the green berries last week but yesterday, this one caught my eye. *wink*
I reached over, gave it a gentle tug and then snapped the picture quickly.
Walked over to the house, rinsed it off and popped it in my mouth.
This one was super sweet, then I found another and I had to try that one too.
Sure enough, it was just as sweet and juicy as the first one.
It appears that it is going to be a very good year for sweet strawberries for us. *hurray!*
I just love strawberries!!
