Day 3 - The Wasp....

Really, I was hoping that today would be quite.

HA!

DH was working from home and he finished up early, so we were able to head to the pool in the afternoon not at night.

We all loaded up into his car, headed out the drive way, up our road; so far all is going well.

Then dh leans over and said, “There is a wasp on the trunk window.”

Oh please, don’t let him see it or have overheard the news.

Too late.

From the back of the car we hear, “What did you say? A wasp? Where?”

>insert scream and total panic from totally freaked out child<

Rolled my eyes and told dh to please pull over to the side of the road.

Total meltdown now almost 100%.

Nate was telling him to chill and just relax.

Nope, not working.

We pop the trunk; dh goes and lifts the trunk up, looks around and asks, “Do you guys see it? I don’t see it.”
Oh boy…

Then Nate spoke the best words we had heard all day.

They were: “Wee, there it goes. We are all clear, let’s go to the pool!”

Crisis averted.

Child returns to normal,

Family heads to pool and has a good time.

I don’t think I want to know what will happen next.

Anyone have an aspirin?
