Chocolate Skittles Candy

Chocolate Skittles Candy?!

They were sitting there right next to the yummy regular fruity Skittles in the check out line.

How could I not try them?

I grabbed a package and went forward to pay for my groceries.
Finally home, groceries away, I cut open the bag to try the new goodies.
They looked really good, nothing out of the ordinary and there are four great flavors.
Those flavors would be Brownie Batter, Vanilla, Chocolate Caramel, and S’mores.

Humm…. Which flavor to select from first?

I started with the chocolate caramel (mmm….caramel).. not bad at all.
Next up was the Brownie Batter; I was looking forward to this one. I love the taste of brownie batter, that rich chocolate goodness, so creamy and rich.
With my mouth watering, I popped in the candy and um… wait, something has to be wrong this is not what I was expecting.
I quickly swallowed the candy and raced for a drink of water. Something had to cut the awful chemical taste that was left in my mouth.

Ack!

I looked at the remaining flavors, recalled the moment that had just passed and opted to toss the rest. These are not for me, but I am sure there will be others out there that enjoy them.
I will stick to my trusty M&M’s for my little chocolate fix.
